The Intake, the Welcoming, the Facility, the Support Staff, the Facilitators, the Therapists, the Medical Provider; every single person/peer interaction I had. All of it was fantastic. I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH! I arrived down & damaged and this program Helped/Healed me in ways that I would not have ever thunk. The group discussions, the one on one meetings, and the tools that I have been given will carry on with me through my recovery&healing. To: Mr. Doherty, John; Thank you, Thank YOU, THANK YOU! I had a remarkable experience during the time I was enrolled in an IOP program at Healing Heroes/Resilience Behavioral health. Cassie, Skyler, and John were all incredible from the operations side of the house. John was also an amazing therapist and group facilitator that always brought energy, authenticity, and poignant introspection. It was a blessing to have Ali as my primary counselor. She helped me to zero-in on the route of my problems to evaluate, reflect on, and heal. I learned numerous coping mechanisms and techniques to reframe my mind and experience a positive life in recovery. Tanya was also very passionate and gave me many resiliency tools I can bring with me moving forward. She facilitates incredible group therapy sessions. I highly recommend the support from Healing Heroes/Resilience.

This was my first time ever doing anything like this. After nearly 24 years of service I had no idea how to start the process of working on myself. This program helped me understand the process, gave me the tools to heal, and ensured my treatment was right for me and I wasn’t just a number. Being with other military and first responders also allowed for common place with others who could relate and understand. I highly recommend this program and I’m forever grateful for how much they helped me and my family.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give 500000000 stars, I would. Healing Heroes Behavioral Health saved my life. I do not say that lightly. As a first responder, I experienced a traumatic line of duty incident that broke me in ways I did not recognize at first. I was drowning in nightmares, grief, guilt, and pain I did not know how to carry. I cried. I stopped sleeping. And for a very brief moment, I did not want to be here anymore. That is the truth. Healing Heroes met me in that darkness and helped bring me back to the light. Through their Partial Hospitalization Program and continuing into their Intensive Outpatient Program, they helped me heal in a way I did not think was possible. They helped me see the goodness in myself again. They reminded me that my life has value and that what I experienced did not define or destroy me. Every therapist, counselor, and group facilitator truly understands first responders and military personnel. They understand the trauma, the silence, the culture, and the weight we carry. My individual therapist and the owner of this program have impacted my life in ways I can never fully explain or repay. They helped save me when I could not save myself. Because of Healing Heroes, I did not just survive. I healed. I grew. I returned to law enforcement stronger, healthier, and more grounded than I have ever been. If you are a first responder or military member reading this and you are struggling, please hear me. You are not weak. You are not broken. And you are not alone. As a father of two young children, first responder and combat vet who has struggled with PTSD for years, I needed all the help I could get. Healing Heroes takes a unique approach to helping those of us that need it. The groups have a theme, but it is more than that. They ACTUALLY TEACH AND LISTEN, which is exactly how those of us in treatment really understand our issues. They're therapists actually walked the walk, and have first hand knowledge about it. Other places might teach from books, and the therapist might have book smarts, but is that how you want to understand your individual issue? I'll take the knowledge of those who have been through the trenches than the halls of a school any day. I can't say enough great things about this place. You owe it to YOURSELF AND YOUR LOVED ONES, to get the help you deserve, and there's no better place than HEALING HEROES.
